Evidence-Required Industry
CNC Machining for Semiconductor Equipment Components
Formexi evaluates precision mechanical components for semiconductor-related equipment, including frames, mounts, stages, housings and fluid or vacuum-related bodies. Cleanliness, outgassing, particle control, material source and inspection must be defined; general CNC cleaning is not cleanroom processing.

Components That May Be Evaluated
- Precision aluminum and stainless equipment structures
- Motion-stage, sensor and alignment components
- Vacuum-related mechanical bodies subject to test review
- Gas/fluid blocks and fittings subject to cleanliness requirements
- Fixtures, carriers and laboratory/process tooling

Requirements Beyond Dimensional Accuracy
| Requirement | Evidence needed |
|---|---|
| Cleanliness | Defined particle/residue standard, process and packaging |
| Vacuum compatibility | Material, cleaning, sealing and leak-test specification |
| Low outgassing | Approved material and process data |
| Precision motion/alignment | Datums, thermal condition and measurement method |
| Surface treatment | Approved chemistry, mask, certificate and contamination control |
Materials and Finishes
Aluminum and stainless steel are frequently considered, with engineering plastics or copper used for specific functions. Alloy, finish and cleaning must follow the equipment owner’s approved specification. Generic material family pages do not establish semiconductor compliance.
Cleanroom and Vacuum Boundary
Formexi has not yet supplied verified cleanroom classification, particle-control process or helium leak-test equipment. These capabilities must not be claimed. Projects requiring them need an approved external route and documented acceptance before quotation.
Supplier Qualification Evidence
Before supplier approval, request traceable semiconductor-equipment project evidence, process records, cleaning and packaging controls, and authorization for any disclosed customer material.

Define the Project Controls for CNC Machining for Semiconductor Equipment Components
For CNC Machining for Semiconductor Equipment Components, state the part function and risk class, customer specifications, approved material and special-process sources, traceability level, change-control rules, record retention and nonconformance approval path. Add cleanliness, contamination, ESD, cosmetic, packaging or export restrictions where applicable.
Industry use does not by itself prove certification or suitability. Confirm the legal manufacturing entity, certification scope and project-specific documentation before supplier approval.
